2009 Aluminum Can Recycling Challenge

Please join the City of Fargo in the "Cans for Cash" challenge!
Through the month of October, Fargo will be competing with like-sized cities across the United States to see which can collect the most aluminum cans. All proceeds from cans collected at "Cans for Cash" events, as well as from cans redeemed at Minnkota recycling redemption centers, will be donated to the Fargo Public School's Got No Milk Program.
How to donate:
Simply take your aluminum cans to either Fargo Minnkota Recycling Center and mention that they are for "Cans for Cash!". You can also print off a coupon for an extra 5 cents per pound to use when you redeem your cans.
Please help by donating your cans in October!

Fargo Elementary Schools:
Schools will compete during the month of October to see which can collect the most cans. The winning school will receive an ice cream social!
Support your school and drop off cans in the special containers marked with "Cans for a Cure" banners.
Call the recycling office to locate participating schools at 298-6944
Fill the Bin collection event:
Thursday, October 15: 4 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Bring your aluminum cans and help the City of Fargo support our local charities!!
The first 50 people to drop off at least one bag of cans October 15 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. will receive a FREE pair of NDSU Bison basketball tickets!!
