The City of Fargo has established a yard restoration program for damage caused in the construction of primary levees to protect the City during the 2009 flood. Claims must be submitted to the City of Fargo Planning Department by August 31, 2009. Instructions and Claim Form

Flooding within the City of Fargo typically occurs along the Red River between the months of March, April and May. This flooding may be caused by a variety of factors including spring thaw, heavy rains and water flowing into the Red River from downstream locations.
