Right-of-Way Maintenance
Right-of-way maintenance includes mowing (approximately 799 acres), weed control, snow removal and general cleanup of publicly owned properties. This includes areas such as:
- legal drains and retention ponds in the residential areas.
- public right-of-way adjacent to bridges.
- public right-of-way along major thoroughfares and medians throughout the city, i.e. Main Ave, 13th Ave, 45th St, etc.
- flood buyout lots.
- approximately 40 public sidewalks.
