North District

The North District encompasses the area from the southern edge of downtown (Main Avenue from Interstate 29 to University Drive and 6th Avenue South from University Drive to the Red River) to the northern most city limits; from the Red River to Interstate 29, south of 19th Avenue North; and from the Red River to the westernmost city limits north of 19th Avenue North. The district is primarily composed of single-family homes, but it also has several apartment buildings, schools, businesses, manufacturers and the airport.
The district is staffed by one lieutenant, three sergeants, 26 patrol officers, two school resource officers and two downtown resource officers.
