The Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) requires that every governmental entity prepare a Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) to be used as public record. The City of Fargo publishes its CAFR each year in June as an official report to citizens on how funds are used in the operation of city government. The city's fiscal year ends December 31st. The 2012 CAFR has not been updated since the date of the independent auditor's report.
Because it is a lengthy document, our 2012 CAFR is provided below in several sections. All sections are provided in PDF format, so you will need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader to view them.
Basic financial statements
Combining and individual fund statements and schedules
Schedule of expenditures of federal awards
