The formation of the Public Art Taskforce was approved by the Fargo City Commission in January of 2014. The taskforce is intended to be a temporary group of volunteer members who provide assistance as the City lays out the groundwork for a public arts plan. The main goals of the taskforce are to:

1) Review existing public art.

2) Set priorities for new public art.

3) Guide the development of a Public Art Plan.

4) Recommend policies to implement a Public Art Plan which incorporates the concepts outlined in GO2030

Locations, dates, and times for upcoming meetings, as well as meeting topics are published on the agenda page. All meetings are open to the public. For more information, please contact either Nicole Crutchfield at or Maria Olson at
